Please consider donating your time, resources and/or energy in any number of ways at the Festival or to one of our Community Service Projects in Jamaica.  From organic farming to sustainable development or even working the festival, there are many ways and organizations that are willing to accept a helping hand....  Seek and ye shall find.  Please contact Sophia Walsh-Newman for more details.

 

POST CONFERENCE TOUR 

Post Conference Tour -  Feb. 19 - Feb. 20, 2018

We are in the planning to organize an overnight visit to Charles Town, the Maroon Village in Portland.  Arrangements include a Tribute to  Ancestors, a Guided Tour of the Village, entrance to the Museum, a donation of books to the Primary School and a Maroon Feast to share with our hosts.  Along with participation in Maroon drumming and dancing.

FREE CHILDREN'S CLASS

 

Don't forget to bring the children out to participate in free children's classes on Saturday, Feb. 17th beginning at 12 Noon.

BOOK DRIVE AND DONATIONS FOR THE MAROON TOWN PRIMARY SCHOOL LIBRARY

 

Please bring new or gently used books and/or school supplies items with you to Jamaica.  The items will be presented to the Maroon Town Primary School.
